Hi,
Im keen to get involved in a bit of local volunteer work, open to most things. I would struggle to commit to something every week as my work is a bit feast and famine so some weeks I have more time, others I have none. I'd like to do something working face to face helping people out or working on projects. I've done some political volunteering, but it's all quite nebulous and now would like to do something that I can see makes a difference.
All suggestions welcome.
Thanks

Hi there. Have a look at what we do, see if it might interest you. We're after volunteers to help out sometimes with our Wednesday morning drop-in for disabled people at our community allotment in Lewes. If you're interested, drop me an email. Contact details on the website here

We have quite a few volunteering opps at the Railway Land, all of them pretty flexible time wise - hands on conservation work, helping with weekend openings, new things cropping up all the time. We're currently looking for someone to help with the interactive guide of the reserve we are developing. Email me if you'd like more info: [email protected]
