I've just heard that Vic Newman died earlier this week. While I very much hope this may be just a rumour, and apologise to Vic and his family if so, it's very sad news if it's correct.
Vic was a brilliant pub landlord, great bonfire boy and all round good bloke.

Oh dear. He was my neighbour for a year or two, and I was a regular at the Black Horse for several years so knew him quite well during that time, but only seen him on the 5th in recent times. Nice bloke. He will be missed.
