Anyone passed Selmeston on the way to Eastbourne recently? Just past the garage is a fine example of British workers. At least 4 of them relaying a small stretch of path. God knows how long that'll take. I am sure the time would be halved if it was being done by 2 Eastern EU workers. Vote IN. Then maybe we'll get a dual carriageway in my grandchildren's lifetime.

If turning that stretch into a dual carriageway is too expensive, why not provide a couple of overtaking lanes for people to get past tractors and geriatric Honda Jazz owners?
