SHHHH...
Good evening, Lewes. Allow me first to apologize for this interruption to what some may call a 'forum' for banter, or useless nonesense! I do, like many of you, appreciate the comforts of every day routine â?? in this case, that of the Bonfire Boys & Girls that strive hard each year to uphold a tradition close to our hearts! The security of the familiar, the tranquility of repetition. We enjoy them as much as any person involved within this community, in the spirit of commemoration of the 17 Protestant Martyrs, and for the rememberance of those that have fallenl. Thereby those important times associated with someoneâ??s death or the end of some awful bloody struggle, a celebration of a nice holiday, in this instance being the celebration of the Gunpowder Plot. I thought we could mark this November the 5th, a day that is sadly, being slowly choked by local authorities, organisisations and people that simply want to destroy an over 400 year old tradition, by taking some time out of our daily lives to sit down and have a little chat....

Voilà! In view, a humble vaudevillian veteran, cast vicariously as both victim and villain by the vicissitudes of fate. This visage, no mere veneer of vanity, is a vestige of the vox populi, now vacant, vanished. However, this valorous visitation of a bygone vexation stands vivified, and has vowed to vanquish these venal and virulent vermin vanguarding vice and vouchsafing the violently vicious and voracious violation of volition. The only verdict is vengeance; a vendetta held as a votive, not in vain, for the value and veracity of such shall one day vindicate the vigilant and the virtuous. Verily, this vichyssoise of verbiage veers most verbose, so let me simply add that it's my very good honor to meet you and you may call me V.

Vi Veri Veniversum Vivus Vici!
