What the f**k is going on?
Has anyone seen the white lines in Cliffe High St. What a f**king disgrace, I can't believe anyone with eyes that work can believe that they look appropriate for what used to be a lovely area.
I can only assume the council is trying to turn Cliffe into some sort of museum.
Living Cliffe!!! well let's hope so in spite of what they're doing to it.

Bet there's gonna be plenty of swearing shortly if the letters page in the Sussex Express is anything to go by.
The moaning has begun...

When it's common wordage to use bl**dy asterix in the headlines of daily newspapers then I guess it becomes more acceptable.
I don't find it clever or entertaining to use it in a post to that extent... nonetheless societies bounderies change.

You're absolutely right of course, I apologise unreservedly.
I was just a bit cross when I wrote the first post.
I still think the white lines and now the hundreds of trafficc cones are an horrendous eyesore tho.

Well I think the Ciffe is so much nicer to shop in these days without the cars. It's really nice to mooch around window shopping, popping into Bills for a coffee and a paper and Gordons for some chocs.
