Would anyone else be interested in investigating the possibility of tuc tucs in Lewes?

Yes, I'd love one to take me from The Gardeners to the LA.
Good luck with that.

I guess it will be Uber here first. They are flooding Brighton and Hove now. There are more regulations over tuc tucs than Uber, so the latter is likely sooner.......

Do you mean investigating with a view to setting up a tux tuc taxi service in town? I would think it would work quite well for short journeys, under say 5 miles. But bloody scary to use on busy roads. Much better to get the local town council to set up a local regular mini bus service.

I remember using a similar thing in Bombay a while back. It would be a great opportunity for the younger and more disadvantaged to make an honest living.

The taxi mafia in brighton put a stop to the Tuc Tucs there but I don't think they have the same power in Lewes

An 'uber' is new sex male toy all the way from Rotterdam. Apparently very good.

I’ve ridden these things, or a form of them, in a number of countries but I’ve never seen them referred to as ‘tuc tucs’, only ever saw the ‘tuk tuk’ spelling.
A quick internet search reveals that the Brighton enterprise is Tuctuc Ltd, and that’s pretty much the only example of the spelling I can find.
I can’t think of any other example of a brand name being the preferred spelling of an established word, maybe I’ll make cheez sandwich and think it over.
