Imagine for a moment turning up in a town and being treated with suspicion just for the lifestyle u choose to lead.
The vast majority of travellers i've met have been really decent human beings (and the majority of car theives i've met have lived in houses).Of course u get individuals who are out to make trouble just as you do in the population as a whole, but no more so.
Walking around Lewes on an average fiday night and its not travellers I see causing trouble.
Leading a travelling lifestyle is one of the most natural things we can do and in many parts of the world is the norm.With our current housing crises we should encourage practical sollutions such as traveling.Shurely it puts less pressure on the local community to welcome a few passing guests than to have yet more people moving to lewes and requiring housing etc.
I dont mean to rant but it would be so nice to see a little more understanding and acceptance of a different way of life,maybe both sides could gain from this.
