Ever noticed how long it takes the lights from white lion car park take to change , as opposed to the st Ann's crescent ones , both joking the main high street , both from residential areas , jst that one also as county hall in it ,

The ones at St. Annes Crescent are two way, the ones at the bottleneck three way, hence the extra delay. It used to be possible during the night to drive on green from prison crossroads to Malling, with the exception of the junction with St. Annes Crescent. I always suspected that these were set for the convenience of
County Hall employees and not for users of the main road!

Of course they are. You only have to drive up to them and immediately the Western Road ones change to amber. Always been like that. Wouldn't want the County Hall t0ssers being inconvenienced, would we.

Quite right, it's about time that County Hall was pulled down and it's 2000 jobs moved elsewhere. Lewes could then become a quaint little town that depends on tourists for it's income, won't that be fun?

Hmm - do all the workers in County Hall live in Lewes? None of the ones I worked with a year or so ago did as they couldn't afford the house prices locally! All a bit weird though!
It's an eyesore and it's way past its sell-by-date so knock it down and move it to Polegate which makes more sense.
