Who is actually "managing" the peak times rush hour in town ? Grid lock from the tunnel to the prison ? And BTW the shrubbery in the Prince Edwards Road need a good cut back so you can actually see if there I see anyone to give priority to !

Managing implies someone is doing something..
I am more curious as to who is letting Lewes Scaffolding block one lane every day by the bottleneck. They are parked so as to block one lane opposite LOGS. I have been watching numerous traffic wardens just walk by .. this lorry causes a huge tailback for the last three days at least. And it never gets a ticket either

Unfortunately no one is policing it ! The wardens just ticket anything illegally parked, which means, the driver feels entitled to stay as long as they like, to get their money's worth. Taxis, Blue Badge holders and scaffold lorries do as they please, as do charity vans.

Bert. It’s been said before, but you are the problem. You are the reason the traffic is bad. You and all the other people stuck in their cars.

Actually Gardener, I was on foot and walking quicker than the cars were moving ! So don't jump to conclusions so readily in future.

Who in their right mind would bother to complain about traffic if they were on foot?
