Is there something going on in town today?
It took me ages to get from town to the tunnel late this morning, and it's just taken 20 minutes to get from the Snail to the bottom of School Hill.
The traffic seems to have been really bad all day.

@ ACT - same here. I think there was a bike accident right by Aqua and the mini roundabout (and Ambulance centre, handily), couple of police cars joined in as well and temporarily diverted traffic and closed that road. Looks like that incident has been cleared though and traffic is flowing normally again.

Yes, just before 3pm there was a motorcyclist lying face-down and motionless on the mini-roundabout, with a couple of emergency vehicles in attendance; there was a car also on the roundabout. Poor motorcyclist.

Oh dear. Hope he's ok.
I feel bad about moaning about the traffic now.

Don't fret too much ACT. It only takes someone to fart on School Hill and the town is gridlocked anyway.

ACT your name implies exactly the type of person you are. You feel bad for your personality being exposed not the injured person.

"couple of police cars joined in" it's not a carnival. Your voyeuristic tone is worrying.
