I just want to say whoever did the seating plan and design in The Trading Post coffee place needs to have a rethink. Its just really awkward to find somewhere decent to sit. Those low chairs are too far away from each other.
Ooh it makes my blood boil. I’m going to speak to them now

I was impressed, lovely staff and breakfast, prompt and they listened to our order well. Walked out of the Flint Owl earlier as they ‘couldn’t warm up’ the quiche and the potato and Parma ham dish had been kept lukewarm on a hot plate for god knows how long under the noses of the queuing mouth breathers. Very glad we switched to the quieter space of the Trading Post.

Sadly both Trading Post and Flint Owl are plagued by ridiculously loud music. The acoustics are bad enough without having to shout over the music too. That said TP coffee is by far the best anywhere in Lewes and is slowly becoming a decent replacement to Magasin. Apparently one of the ex Magasin workers is buying the coffee shop at the top of station street, could just be pub gossip though...

Which coffee shop do you mean? New Turkish one in what was Tashtori has only just arrived. Only other one is a Lewes
Patesserie and that wouldn’t be big enough surely?

I haven't been in there so can't comment but I imagine the seating plan is as you say.
