Can anyone help.
A regular at the Elephant and Castle hasn't been seen for a number of weeks and we're a bit concerned.
His name is Michael, he is in his 70's, always smartly dressed and a lovely man.
He used to live in or near Toronto Terrace but now I think he is down by the Swan.
He likes a bet, he's a smoker and drinks Harveys or whisky (that might help anyone from the Swan identify him for us though I'll call them after Sunday lunch).
He went on holiday the other week but we've not seen him since.
Please let me know if you do have any information.

Fairholme has closed down, I know some of the residents were rehoused in the flats opposite the prison

This is a truly amazing community, I will be going out of my way for a couple of pints at the Ellie this week. Hope there is a simple reason for this chaps absence.

Really great of you Huw, and Decent Citizen for sharing information.
There are some one-bedroomed bungalows in Winterbourne Lane that are owned by the council and used for housing older people or people with disabilities. He could have been rehoused there when Fairholme closed, that would make the Swan his nearest pub.
LDC housing officers are pretty good when it comes to checking out the welfare of tenants who might be vulnerable. It may be worth ringing and saying you're concerned that no-one's seen him out and about. Their tenancy system would be able to find him, unless there's another person of the same sort of age with the same name. Quite often, the local housing officer will know who they are anyway.
Hope he's ok, anyway.
