The switch to PIP has already meant lots of people losing the mobility money they got under DLA, the proposed changes will make it much harder for people to get the care element.
This is such a callous, cynical move that it makes me feel really quite murderous towards IDS and Osborne.

Agreed, ACT.

This might be one of the issues that our nodding dog of an MP is vulnerable on so it would be worth writing to her and getting her to signal discontent like the other Tories who've suddenly discovered their compassion centre.

There are sneaky, hidden cuts coming along, too. If someone gets PIP or DLA care, they can be entitled to extra money added to their other benefits. That's all going to change under universal credit, there will be none of these additions.

This low life called a Tory Party is nothing other than a gang of destructors intent on furnishing themselves with vast pots of public cash.
The Hatton Garden safe deposit robbery doesn’t come near to the amount of money the Tories are stuffing & grasping into their private Swiss Bank Accounts!
To say their full of sleaze & are corrupt and full of contempt for the poor is an understatement.
They swamp the TV & media with vile attempts at vilifying the neediest of Society.
They ram it down our throats at every opportunity their seedy & vile propaganda with absolutely endless Tory inspired & financed TV programs.
Thank goodness they seem to have almost disappeared from Channel 4 and have been demoted to Channel 5 for the time being.
They have got away with this for far too long, because their relying on the poor & disabled to be unable to fight back, too scared & victimised to be able to voice their needs or voice their anger or total despair.
They are doing their uttermost to exterminate the poor at any cost.
Only once public opinion hinted at change and could stand for no more for this morally unjust policy, only then the Tories said, ‘The Disability Benefits Cuts was only a Suggestion’ !!!
They have already made CUTS to PIP - the Personal Independence Payment and they’re suggesting yet more? They’re truly sickening…
They want to dismantle the NHS too.
Their missions are kept silent and away from the public with the like of TTP and piss poor distraction tactics.
All the time this kind of thing is going on the Rich Tories are busy grasping for Directorships or some form of controlling aspect of these newly privatised companies.
The list of Tories with their snouts in this privatisation business trough is astounding!
The proposed sale of Lewes Post Office is just one example of how their policy of Fire Sales of Public Assets has effected Lewes. Who got rich from that one & who gets rich from that property sale?
Lewes High Street will become empty of public, civic buildings to be replaced by luxury private flats that nobody shall ever want.
These are just some of the reasons I despise the Tory Party..
I suspect that one or two of you will take great delight in attempting embarrass to improve my diction, grammar or punctuation etc..
Laugh at my misfortune if you must.. at my having suffered a brain injury, but remember your just a moment away from a severe accident of severe illness too.
You might use this as an opportunity to employ those well used Tory tactics of distraction or maybe not ..
Are you just going to sit by and let this happen to your Country?
These are just some of the reasons I despise the Tory Party..

About your title: "Tories All in Together apart from the Disabled!".
Your supposition is that there are no Tories who are disabled. I think Conservative MPs Paul Maynard and Robert Halfon (who self-describe themselves as disabled) might disagree.

A bits short on fact Mr Kampf. Perhaps you could provide a few examples of Tories who have got rich from the sale of public assets? Thanks in anticipation.

andreas, you might like to know that if an MP is in parliment and disabled, they are getting paid a healthy wage, and get benefits in the form of conversions for use of office etc. Many disbaled people in Britain did not choose to be in that condition, and cannot all be MPs either. The chances of a disabled person earning enough to live on with all their needs is unlikely. Also, it is possible to be left disabled form your employment-that is another can of worms.

'In the NHS' - Yes, everyone knows MP's are well paid but that doesn't mean that everyone votes through self interest - there are plenty of wealthy people who want wealth distributed more fairly.
My point is simply that the title "Tories All in Together apart from the Disabled!" assumes there are no Disabled Tories which is painfully wrong.

If everyone on ESA WRAG loses the disability component, they should all demand to be taken off ESA and transferred to JSA. The money is no different, but the unemployment figures will be embarrassingly high for the Tory government.

A good point Bongo for those with a relatively "mild" disability, but the chancellor is targeting the Personal Independence Payment for those who need more care/assistance. I speak from experience of what I class as a mild disability, and being able to draw a small personal pension and work part time I am OK. No help from any government of either political colour for years as to getting into work, just luck and perseverance on my part. I'm sorry but I can't be hassled with the hoops they expect you to jump through to claim anything. 3 years to go for the state pension

I love the way Smith's resignation letter seemed to blame it all on Osborne. It was all a bit "A big boy made me do it" imo.
Luckily, the clip of him joyfully punching the air when some cut to the vulnerable was announced in parliament will probably be on You tube as a reminder of how much he was a willing participant in the gradual demolition of the welfare system.

Maria Cauldfield has been one of the biggest cheerleaders for welfare benefit cuts. She said that as a child she lived in a socialist state - think she meant Lambeth - and having no money provided her with the incentive she needed as people go soft otherwise. I notice she visits a lot of servicesc and charities for people with disabilities, perhaps they should charging her for the photo opps to make up for some of the benefit cuts she is keenly voting for.
