See they're having a moan on another website about too much pizza in the town. Not sure you can ever have too much myself. What do people make of the new place in the bus station?

Never tried it - I absolutely hate pizza. Except for the ones made from scratch by an Italian family running a restaurant in Kent that I sometimes go to. Crispy, and yummy, and they don't think you're a weirdo for not wanting cheese on it!

It's another junk food anyway, so "pizza wars" don't bother me . I can just about enjoy a shish kebab made from proper meat; genuine fish and chips from South Street or Fisher Street, or a good chinese takeaway ordered for the variety rather than the value for money: but pizza? no no...

if there's a demand for it, they'll stay in business, if not, they will fail. Love seeing people using their initiative and opening small outlets like the pizza place in the bus station....good luck to them.
On the other hand, i can't understand why that new snack/sandwhich shop up station street closes before the busiest time of the day.....when 2,000 starving teenagers need snacking. If ever there was a decent opportunity to get custom, that would be my choice.

I just don't think you can beat a pizza from pizza express.

You're probably right. I find it hard to imagine a pizza better than Pizza Express Calabrese.
Suggestions always welcome though!

I think you'll find that these pizzas are a league above anything available from the chain restaurants. Fresh dough cooked with fresh ingredients in a wood fired oven in minutes. As opposed to companies that ship ready made stodgy bases in before covering them in slimy cheese!
These are far from being junk food. Give em a try and support local independant traders!
