Add 50g of soda crystals to your washing powder draw then add the amount state for soft water of your washing powder instead of the amount stated for hard water. Do this for every wash load you do. It will soften the water and is cheaper than calgon.

Doesnt using Frosties make it a bit sweet? Good tip - will try it.

Yes frosties is a bit sweeter than the cornflakes but with the savoury taste of the cheese it is quite a nice combination. Its all down to individual tastes really. If you prefer non sweet just use the cornflakes instead. My family loves it with both. Don't over do it mind a couple of handful crunched up should be enough

You can use ready salted crisps on a pasta bake, it's brilliant. If you're resticting salt - (I don't eat salt as a rule) you can get the ones with the little blue bag and take it out. The salt in the cheese is enough to ensure it still has a savoury taste. Yum yum.

I should think frosties would be nice on cooked apples you dont need so much sugar and the juice would soak in to frosties and taste lovely just a thought

a little tip to get grease out of your clothes you know when you spill something down your front. before washing article cover the stain with talcalm powder leave for about 10 minutes, put a sheet of any paper over stain iron over. move paper several times you will see the grease on the paper. Only use iron with steam off it gets a better grip I done this today on my new top I used to work with the elderly and its always worked
