I have just been informed that it's now impossible to buy candy cigarettes any more or those chocolate cigarettes with paper like a real roll up ! .
How in God's name are the kids of today supposed to learn skills like holding cigarettes in either an elegant or manly style , how to tap your imaginary ash away etc . It's not the same pretending to smoke a " candy crayon " as I believe they are now called. We live in a difficult world already without holding our children's development back any further.

I remember those rolled up bags containing strands of sugar coated golden coconut, which was meant to resemble loose tobacco. Tasted lovely - one of my favourites :-)
I've never smoked in my life, btw, never been remotely interested. I think the horror stories about lung/mouth/throat cancer did the trick!

For your information I have never smoked real cigarettes but was a heavy smoker of candy ones as a child , it never made me wish to take up the hard stuff !

Anecdote is not evidence. Occasionally someone smokes like a chimney and lives to 90, but the stats still tell us it kills a lot of people and shortens the lives of most. Making fags fun and cool with sweeties is probably going to encourage smoking even if some still resist. Having said that it's token nonsense compared to proper anti smoking measures like jailing the directors of tobacco multinationals who export more fags to some countries than could possibly be bought there knowing full well they are going to be smuggled back into the UK and sold at low prices the duty having been avoided.

Prime example of people not appreciating the exorbitant taxing of anything. Been around since smugglers operated back in time, including the bricking up of windows !!

Sugar is more addictive than nicotine - vaping is @ least tar free - how about a liquorice vaping set . with choccy refills . Bet there`s no legislation against that.
