The Lib Dems wipe out shows conclusively that they have failed to fully grasp the fact that they are essentially just a party of protest .They don`t actually stand for anything, apart from some woolly phrases, that can be spun as to mean almost anything. This has meant historically they have been able to present themselves to various groups of disgruntled voters as either left right or centre ,depending on which way the political wind was blowing at the time Now that the electorate has other parties of protest to vote for ,UKIP ,the Greens and even the SNP who were originally a protest vote, the LibDems no longer have a role to play in British politics. The chameleon party will never recover and will be extinct within the next twenty years.

I'm still here. Not going anywhere and going to question everything done by our new Tory stooge and supporters. Which won't be a lot because Torys are renowned for doing f*** all except looking after themselves.

I think you might give Ms Caulfield a chance she seems such a nice hard working sort . I never much cared for Norman`s politics but he seemed to be a good MP for Lewes and I certainly never doubted his intentions
