The amount of work she was going to do was going to put Baker to shame. Invisibility is a good trick but achieves nothing. Which is precisely what she has done.

Seriously the Tories took up the mantle of spin from that bastion of right-wing politics posing as the neo liberal Tony Blair. So what did you expect her to do but fire of a couple of spinning quotes about how she was going to change the world and then do as little as possible for as much gain as she could. The new breed of capitalist/conservative is just a re branding of what we used to refer to as a criminal

Honestly. Is anyone really surprised? You won't see her again until she wants your vote next time around.
Come back Norman.

'Come back Norman'... He ain't coming back. Blame the blinkered lefties who voted for the no-hope Labour and let the Tories in the back door. this was so-called punishment for going into coalition. Pah! Purist crap - and the poor will suffer

I too have found her as responsive as Norman to emails, and I challenge you to find an issue of the Sussex Express without multiple stories and photos about her and her activities. I didn't vote for her (and probably won't next time either) but have been pleasantly surprised. She has taken a very sensible line on Lewes District Council's appallingly managed 49 sites project.

I'm no fan boy but credit where it's due. Check her voting record (it's online) seems ok, she's turning up at the big house. Currently very active feeling the collar of Southern, so that's good.
I reckon she's made a decent start.

If a jelly-wrestling match between Maria and Imogen were called, we'd be able to see what these women look like and discover their strengths/fighting tactics.

I have noticed that Maria Caulfield (our MP; for those at the back-please pay attention) appears numerous times in the Sussex Express. Perhaps not quite as many as the previous incumbent, but then she only deals with sensible matters.

If the advertisers walked away from the Sussex Express tomorrow it would die, it is a rubbish paper, it most certainly is not a NEWSPAPER. the word news is a concept beyond their understanding.Perhaps our MP is a shareholder ???.

How else would I know which of my friends and acquaintances were no longer with us?
If I find I'm not in the obits I read the rest of the paper.
If you send them interesting stories, they publish them. Our MP sends them more than most.
Sadly they no longer attend the magistrates court (nowhere to park in Brighton) so no longer discover what most of my friends have been up to.
