I went out earlier to the Dorset just for a nice drink with my friend and children! I was amazed at the poor service unless you are a 'regular' we couldnt order any food as the chef wasn't there, and also the most shocking thing was 4 people who where cycling, 2 couples in their retirementent age asked for drinks, crisps and nuts as there was no kitchen open! They where all asked to leave because one of the ladies opened a cereal bar from her bag! It seemed very much over the top

Went to the Dorset in Lewes at about 6.30pm today, and enjoyed good food and decent service.
Which Dorset did you go to for your poor experience, jolly dodger?

Dorset Arms, Volunteer, Brewers Arms... always difficult to decide which is the worst pub in Lewes. All bad in ther own way perhaps.
