i took my wifes car to the car wash people, in Tesco car park. they did a good job of cleaning it, but it now really smells inside. Just wondering if anybody else has had similar problems, or have I just been unlucky, or have they hoovered it with a musty old hoover?. If I have just been unlucky, then I may give them a second chance. But would be interested to know if anybody else has had any problems before going back.

I had my exterior washed there a few weeks ago and was hugely impressed by their standard of work. They were quick but incredibly thorough, even moving the car forward when they were finished so they could clean the hidden bits of tyre. The staff were friendly and polite and I'd certainly go there again.

The Hoover generally is sat outside the car ! Only the hose goes in the car and that has a vacuum through it ! More likely your car's pollen filter

I totally agree with you Tipex, I was very pleased with the outside, have managed to isolate the smell. I cleaned the dash and interior trim with Antibacterial wipes and smell is now gone. they must have cleaned the inside with a very smelly cloth. will defo use again, but maybe request they use a clean smelling cloth lol.
