There is a place at the back of the dripping pan with four courts that you can just turn up and play.
A guy comes round and collects fee's every so often, although I cannot remember how much it ispark at the dripping pan, walk across the field and to the left and it'll be right in front of you.
Enjoy!

I joined Southdowns for a year and only went once. That was money down the drain. I did not find them very helpful with novices. If you cannot play you cannot go to club sessions. If you cannot play, no one wants to give you a game. If, like me, meetings and work stop you from attending the novice classes you are unable to play tennis there. So if you would like to play tennis with someone useless but keen, please get in touch.

Yes courts on convent field - park in car park by the football club - concrete and grass ones - i think its about a fiver when he comes around to collect. Also nice courts in Kingston Village you can use.
