Does anyone have the telephone number of the chap who used to work at Lewes Televion in the Cliffe? Someone did mention it many many posts ago but I forgot to make a note of it, and now I need to have a telly tuned in.

There is a train to Brighton leaving later, probably one after that too.

This is a genuine enquiry, and I was hoping someone would be kind enough to help. Instead of which, I get "John" with his stupid irrelevancy. Versions of "John" seem to be cropping up all over the place. Does anyone at all find them funny, except perhaps themselves?

What do you need doing, Tellyfan? Could someone else (ie not the chap who worked at Cliffe Television many years ago) help? Is it a Freeview issue, perhaps?

(I'm with you on the Steve/John trolls, by the way. Very tedious)

Thanks SQ. It's probably very simple to do; setting up a telly which I moved to a new situation. No tellybox involved. The chap in Cliffe used to solve my telly problems for me; my cat used to visit him! However, if he's not around I will have to try elsewhere. Thanks again for the interest.

Ah okay. So do you need a new aerial outlet then? If it's in the same room would a co-axial extension do the job? Homebase sell them. Otherwise any firm specialising in satellite/freeview/freesat installations should be able to help, I'd have thought. Personally I'd probably give Cyril Ireland a call on 07714 914596 - he put in my satellite installation and would be able to advise on sorting that out.

Or try a Lewes family firm that I have used and can highly recommend - NuDigital 07414 987000. Daniel is really good and won't charge a call out fee to come and give some advice and a quote!
