The difficulty is all firms probably have made mistakes which, while minor, were a 100% fail to the customer at the time.

Mistakes happen, and we all hate it when its our cab that`s late or never arrives, but unfortunately the worst thing about ordering a cab is the Chinese whisper effect, this is the process of getting your needs to the driver via a phone line(poss bad mobile line) to an operator then via a radio system( with various issues ie distance and noise)then if the driver does get all the info needed there is traffic to deal with. Now that`s a good job, throw booze and drugs into the pot( some customers)and its a wonder any arrive anywhere on time, but most do. Now with all this it is very true that in the end it is the very valued customer that does feel let down , and I hate that.
We all work very hard to be perfect and to provide the perfect service,its not easy, Please be patient if your cab is a little late Its never done on purpose.
Being a cabbie is one of the most rewarding jobs i have ever done, you meet great people, with stories and lives that would not be out of place in a great novel or film, we meet the low lives too,but give you all our best even if we are having a bad day.
It`s a shame you all can`t walk a day in my shoes, its fun .
@Deny the passenger, report them to the council , but remember they may have been outside their cab when they smoked( I hate smoking BTW)
