Anyone else in Nevill area having problems with tv reception?
We had to retune both sets in June or thereabouts, because they were buggering about with the frequencies. Since then, we've had repeated problems with signal loss, pixellation, sound breaking up etc.
Before I start climbing up ladders to check out the aerial, I thought I'd see if other people were having similar problems.

I’m on the high street and yes I’ve had intermittent problems. The arial guy fixed it only for it to be unwatchable the next day, pixelly and loss of signal. I’ve found just retuning seems to solve it.

Yep, had the same. Not all the time, sometimes the BBC channels will go all pixelated, other times it’s more random. Was going to try and retune again, but putting up with it for the time being...

Thank you people!
Ill try giving it (yet) another retune. It seems really random, it was fine for a couple of weeks, then last ngiht we couldn't get ITV downstairs but BBC was fine, upstairs it was the opposite. This morning, the situation is reversed. Most peculiar.
It's even stranger because there are no obstructions whatsoever between us and the transmitter. You can actually see it from the upstairs windows.
And Bob, you're quite right, I'm far too old to go climbing ladders. On a bad day, even the stairs are a bit of a challenge.

My aerial points towards the main transmitter at Heathfield and has been fine. So maybe it's a local transmitter problem if you are pointing at that.

Kent channels now appear on our channel list but they don't actually come through. Been like that for a few months.

I’m in Prince Edwards Road and I’ve had problems too. Definitely better to go for the Heathfield transmitter. Some of the channel numbers have changed since the retune. You can call the Freeview helpline. They’re quite helpful and will send out a technician for free.

Yes same problem in Winterbourne.. I'm getting reception from County Hall secondary transmitter. Loss of reception happens periodically since the June re-tune.
