I am coming to feel rather fed up with the hoards of Sussex Downs Students who spill into the whole area as well as Mountfield road every single day. I understand they are receiving their education however they take up a huge amount of space and can be incredibly intimidating. Surely there is some way they can not have such an impact on the everyday public?

My mum is on tranquillisers because of this. They flood the roads talking loud and running sometimes. She's seen them pushing each other. All she thinks about every day is what might happen next. My brother went to the school and they told him well these children have to get there and back somehow. Well that's not good enough! Please please somebody stop this. How can anyone think it's right to build a school near houses?

This is one of the most ridiculous comments I have seen! Yes when I was at Sussex Downs trying to get to a 330pm class against the flow of hordes of Priory students was a nightmare, but how else are people meant to get there? Some do use the blue bridge route, others drive, others get the bus but the rest do have to walk!

Annie, why would your mum buy or rent a house with the school there if it's such a big problem?

Damn must have missed that as I was on my way to Aqua to complain to DFLs about Bonfire and people smoking weed in the station toilets.

In the 70's we use to get told off about clogging the street walking in mobs so not much has changed in nearly half a century , I suspect there are more cars , and the college wasn't there then .

The Greek, your post really made me lol. Just what I needed on a dismal morning.

I went there and much preferred to be in my car. Trying to get air off the speed bumps or aiming at the young priory children who were playing chicken.
