With Christmas on the horizon it seems a good time to remind locals that it could be very financially beneficial to invest in the Support and Save Card. I have just bought a new pair of specs at Specsavers and saved £37 in one hit by flashing the card. Not bad for an annual investment of just £30.

Use it in the kiosk at the cinema in Uckfield - very funny, they can never work out how to put it through and takes ages - all to save about 45p. My wife gets annoyed every time I do it but it's the principle that counts!!!

Caffyns is the one to hit. 15% off a service. That could be about £150 off!

And I got a t-shirt printed at the Print Rooms for my son's birthday - reduced with my support & save card from £20 to £10. Marvellous.

To Rookie, any Lewes FC people on here, etc: Would it not be a good idea for the Support and Save scheme to work at the Dripping Pan? ie. instead of being £11 entrance, say, £9?

Yes it would. But I'm only a supporter and have no say in things like that.

'Tis drizzly today. I can confirm that I had little pearls of water on my jumper when I returned from putting the rubbish out this morning.

It wouldn't make sense to the Club to get £30 in, and then give £60-odd back in reduced admission prices - it's a fund-raising idea, after all.
But you do get 10% off at the Club shop with your Share and Save card...
