Is there a law about noise levels on a Sunday? I'm sick and tired of my next door neighbour doing never ending DIY stuff on a Sunday, he's always drilling or hammering or banging away and I hear it all from my house (we are attached).
It's so inconsiderate it makes me really angry. Surely Sunday should be recognised as a day when people want some peace & quiet?

Ha! You want to swap houses? My neighbours seem to spend most of Sunday in bed. If you'd prefer to listen to the squeaking, squealing and whining that I have to put up with then you're welcome.

I think you can only do something if they are being noisy before 10am. Other than that, no. Maybe talk to them? If I was your neighbour I would rather you speak to me about it before calling the police.

Police don't deal with noise nuisance. Environmental health at LDC do. I'd try and talk to him, but from experience of people who behave like this that they are selfish and tend to aggression if challenged.

Nothing worse than people whining on social media or to the authorities about their neighbours. Go round there and talk to them!
