Any suggestions for best option for Sunday Roast in our local pubs?
"best" intended to cover quality, portion size and price.

No Sunday roasts at the Elly today, we've got our 4th July weekend menu on.
The Lewes Arms always looks reasonable (under a tenner) and I've heard good things about the Black Horse and Swan.
When ours is on it's pretty damn good value (£7.95 meat/£6.95 veggy and 2 for £12). Our meat is all free range and locally sourced.

When the elly are serving roasts I would say they are terrific value as huw says
brewers arms roast is decent too
Higher price range you have Pelham arms and kings head - I like them but my partner thinks they are a bit rich (goose fat, heavy gravy etc)

The White Hart, if you like your meat tepid and vegetables overcooked.

The Abergavenny at Rodmell. Good roast, a nice atmosphere, not too pricey.

The best Sunday lunch is the Black Horse. Although their potatos are too big. The Swan is good but pricey and there are too many kids running around for it to be a pleasant experience. The Elly is good, and very good value but it's not worth the effort of walking over there when you don't know if it will be on, and they sell out early. Most other places are average.....Lewes Arms, Brewers, Snowdrop all okay.
