Why not build something on Lewes.co.uk that allows people to advertise their houses on this website and cut out the estate agents? Some are brave enough to want to do it (it's actually easy, have done it twice), but promotion is the trick.
As this is the only Lewes website with any visitors, why not give it a go? You've already got a Property nav tab.
Bobby.

Its obvious Sceptic that you don't possess a dictionary. Basically it means you can fish moor a boat swim etc. The swimming bit I would not reccomend in the Ouse but I have seen people doing it. Over to you Popeyes.

Bypassing all the inane comments above- yes, let's bypass estate agents. I know my humble abode will be snapped up at easter in the year I retire, due to its location.
May I be so bold to suggest we also bypass lawyers? They "earn" their money out of ignorance of the law by the proletariat. They prey on the loser. There is always one in any court case.
However, so-called "professional" people do prop up Lewes. Keep the pubs going, so us ordinary peasants can drink in them.
Rant over . Maintain the status quo. (good group, 50 years old this year0

That was rather an inane comment Sussex Jim but I believe you have a point.

The great thing about the Lewes Forum is it's up to date and lively, you don't have to wait a month to get out of date news
