More strike action on Tuesday 21st June 2016, followed by a sprinkle of sick days. Two bites of the cherry, a long summer of crowded trains and standing like muppets on the aisle for those lucky enough to get on a train in the first place. Welcome to broken Britain and rip off train fares.

Go to the Argus website and read the Rail minister blaming everything on the unions. This hasn't got a chance of being cleared up by 2020, or whichever year it is that we start begging to be re-admitted to the EU

Count yourself lucky. As a tax payer I subsidise your commute No one aides my ten minuet drive to work

No one aids my 60 minute route march either. (Good post spoiled by illiteratus.)

The article is quite astonishing. The minister comes across very badly, as she did when she was on BBC last night. It's telling, when the 80 odd comments made by readers of the Argus all blame her in some way or another! By the way, if you want to spot a Southern Rail Manager when travelling on a train, just look for someone using a bright orange Hi Viz mobile phone - it seems to be the latest issue. hee hee!

Glad to see the national media finally picking up on the story - well done those who rallied last night in Brighton.

But we do Shut Up. For a start, those of us who don't drive make our contribution through tax to road building. And we suffer the impact of the fumes you exhude ('More than 5,000 people die prematurely from conditions like lung cancer and heart disease because of emissions'), not to mention the constant noise. I think you're probably getting the best part of the deal.
