I'm pretty sure some of that's in the wrong order and I'm not exactly sure on most of the names. =(

It's like a Lewes version of sporcle.com! Do not visit this site if you're prone to waste time on naming lists. It's addictive......
Good shout by Ed Can Do, but there's a Halifax right at the bottom of the Hill, and I think Jumper has closed down recently. The chemist is Bakers, and there's a cheese shop somewhere near the chemists & shoe shop.

I thought Bone was above Sussex Stationers? There's certainly two clothes shops between them and the top. Also Bright Ideas next to Sussex Stationers, can't believe I forgot that one!

The sooner Lewes gets on Google street view the better. It'll save going out in the rain to check things like this.

Good grief! I know it's a rainy day, but isn't this about as interesting as watching paint dry and about as useful as whitewashing coal? Off to do a bit of train-spotting myself.

I'll have you know I've got the whitest coal in Lewes, if not the county.

Wow - I wasn't expecting anyone to attempt in one attempt to name all the shops, but good try Ed Can Do.
Forgot Bright Ideas though!
How about coming down the other side starting with Fox & Co?

Fox and Co.
What used to be the newsagent.
Adamczewski
Brats
The bookies
Artisan
White Stuff
The vegatarian restaurant
A hairdressers
Some houses
Another estate agent, Wycherleys perhaps?
A white building set back from the road a bit, might be an optician
Some sort of WI headquarters
Probably offices
Cancer Research on the corner
I know that a mate of mine rented a flat above what I described as the WI headquarters but I don't think I've ever known what's in most of the buildings between Albion Street and the bottom.
