I'd like to get shutters fitted in my house (I know, I know.... they're so totally Lewes but.... I really hate soft furnishings)
So, I see many houses around with them. Does anyone have any good recommendations regarding companies to contact? Any companies to avoid?
Thanks.

Try the antique shops. Many of them will source shutters for you if you take the measurements. Or the other option is to get a carpenter to make some for you in the style of what would have been there originally and paint them whatever colour you want.

Wouldn't go to them out of principle after that found him rude and pushy!
