Just moved from Brighton and am in the vulnerable catagory for Covid, so please can you help with which shops here off the best social distancing areas and experience?
As in keeping to 2m apart and no crowding as it is all a worry for me.
Thank you

Thanks. I am slowly leanring town on my early monrning walks. Tescos is wonderful now it opens so early. Some places just look too crowded and people are not social distancing. I do like how town has put reminder notices on the Cliffe part.

I'm surprised and disappointed how few of the small convenience shops insist on their workers at least wear masks. They carry on loading the shelves, going past customers like the old days. I'm reluctant to name shops around nevill which I think are bad as I haven't tried them all but would like to hear about convenience shops that at least have their workers in masks.

Can you ask somebody to go in for you. And get to suggest to them to put a mask on. Or if scared you could just say you read this thread and ask them to read it. Thank me later

Thank you now 35 but it's not really the answer. Neither of the nevill shops seem to be too concerned about reducing infection. A small screen is up at mount Harry shop but the other assistant wasn't behind it and neither were wearing masks. No sign at all of any measures being taken at the newsagents apart from unenforced sign saying only 2 customers at a time. Leicester road is hopeless. Busy shop with shelf filling going on and no masks. I hear that many customers in Tesco seem to not be bothering to keep distance anymore. Any other recent experiences anyone? Somewhere safe to buy milk would be handy.
