Please be aware there are a few Sheep in the cow field on Landport brooks! Dont think they should be there, be careful if you let your dogs off the lead over there. Not sure if anyone knows the farmer, and could let him know they are there?

Over 100 sheep stolen from a field in Hailsham this week. I bet every pub in town will have a lamb 'special' on next week. Hailsham - you couldnt make it up.

Why would anyone let dogs off leads near cows or sheep?

Yes, Id normally agree with you but this morning I had to let my two dogs off their leads when confronted by a herd of cows on Black Cap. The cows were more than frisky and almost howling. Even when we tried to give them a wide berth they followed us very closely, some even running. I let my dogs off their leads and they both ran away from the cows who instantly calmed down.
