Hello,
I'm seeking a potential business partner in the Lewes area who would like to be a shareholder in a business I'm looking to open on the high street.

Hi Don.
I've been looking to become a shareholder in a high street business for a while now.
We should do lunch.

I'm also looking to become a partner in a non-specific business - I'd especially like to be involved in one where I'm completely unaware of any details of said business - not even an inkling would be ideal.
I've struggled to find a partner who is willing to be ambiguous enough for my needs, but I think Don could be the one for me. Shall we meet for a business lunch somewhere? Don't tell me where or when though, it adds to the fun (I will of course pay for the entire meal - plus drinks - though).

Ach, guys, don't be hard on him. He simply wants his scheme to be bankrolled by one of the Lewes softies who go on about the High St places closing down even tho theyve never shopped there. Go on, relieve them of thr money....

Don - Subject to what your business proposal I may be interested. I am happy for Webbo to give you my e-mail address and we can have a chat.
For those making derogatory comments. Getting funding for a start-up business has always been difficult, in these times practically impossible. I have no idea what is behind this or whether I will be interested but I would never knock people down for trying to improve their life and if possible I will help them.

ooh, hope its a knocking shop, masquerading as somewhere selling antiques and home made lewes organic pasties and second hand pants.. Like Duncan Bannatyne, I'm OOT OF THIS INVESTMENT DON. Or, try the guys at the Flying Coffee Bean, they are looking to invest in new sites in Lewes perhaps! OUCH

jrsussex, this is almost guaranteed to be either a spambot or the opening gambit of a scam, probably both in fact.

May well be but I, at this stage, do not know that. Neither do you. I rarely make assumptions so am willing to hear what he/she has to say. If you are right and it is an attempted scam it won't work, I was streetwise when I was about 5yrs old so no-one will scam me, over the years several have tried but none have succeeded.

Don, have you tried building up proper business relationships through networking? That way you could get to know other business people who may be interested in your business.
