Oh, this makes me so sad. Seaford people deserve better. There is a decency and sense of honour in that town - always has been; but not amongst some of its entrenched conservative middle class bastions.
The carbuncle arising on the ashes of the seafront Eversley Hotel is a potent metaphor for the bullying chaos within the Town Council. It is quite simply appalling that this new development has stolen an amenity from Seaford's wonderful promenade and created enormous pressures on public services within the town.
I liked the fact that Seaford was an undiscovered jewel - it's unfortunate that it is losing its sparkle through misused power.
I despair of human nature!

Just like the good old days, Norman being a good local pm fighting against the establishment (that he now props up)

It is a shame Norman Whatsisname refused to do anything at all when there was any sort of problem with a Libdem Council in Lewes. That was because he had a cosy arrangement with Ms DeVechhi that they would not criticise each other. The Tories are crap, but the hypocrisy is worse.

Did any of you see Norman wriggling on the channel 4 news last night, he did a right tango to squirm his way of having an opinion or saying anything that actually meant something.

incidentally, the cosy arrangement above is a fact, as explained to me by Mr Baker himself.

Delusional? Cobblers. Some of us can see through the smokescreens created by desperate opponents.

and there was I thinking that the LibDems were in coalition with what we all used to think were their desperate opponents.
