(2) There is no money at Lewes. The main benefactor, Martin Elliot, has stopped bankrolling the club. Without decent money you don't get decent players or managers. You can't possibly run a Blue Square Premiership team with no money - an inexperienced manager, poor players (no offence - poor compared only to their opponents) in a crap ground is the result. I'm serious - they should make a film about the rise and fall of the club and use the proceeds to start again - it would make a fascinating tragi-comedy.
