I was at the war memorial at 11am with a small group of people to pay my respects to the fallen. There was no ceremony. Nothing. Those that had turned up just shuffled off quietly about 11.05.
I went to Aldi immediately afterwards and it was heaving with people. Speaks volumes about today's society.
