Race night at the Trevor arms

For anyone who likes this sort of thing - Glynde, Beddingham and Firle Memorial Parade are holding a race night on the 12th June at the Trevor Arms in Glynde to raise funds for the memorial evening.
Races start at 8pm and you can be an owner or buy a jockey. Prizes include a ton of logs, a meat selection from the pub, brunch at little cottage tea rooms and the last race is a cash prize. Or you can just have a flutter on the night. There'll also be a raffle.

Sure it's a worthy cause but have fallen out with Trevor on account of walking 3 miles over the downs to find it stops serving food at 3 pm. Honestly, a village pub stops serving food at 3 pm. We checked the web site before we left.....it just says 'food served every day'. That doesn't suggest Dickensian opening times at all.
