Can I get my car to Bunces, and if so, do I have to go up from the bridge or down from Cliffe Corner? I can't picture which bit of the road is currently dug up.
I need to swap a gas cylinder and it's too heavy to carry.

You should be able to get to Bunces from the bridge end. You certainly can't get there from South Street end at the moment.

I can't quite remember how far they were down the high street but you should be able to get close enough, either down the high street as Cliffe Hanger said or come in the other way and turn down Morris road then get round into Foundry Lane.
Hope this helps

When I walked past the other day they were working on the corner of the alley through to the car park (Jenners Way? It certainly becomes that past Harveys) so they're pretty much outside Bunces at the moment. They're only doing about ten metres at a time though so you should be able to get pretty close from either direction.

Just get someone to give you a lift with it. (I've seen the chaps in yellow florrie jackets helping people out quite a few times).

You must be able to get to bunces from the southstreet end because morris road is open at all times to cars and bunces is opposite the entrance to it.
