Just turn up go through the security checks and explain that you wish to view a case they can direct you accordingly. I think most cases start at 10.00.

Do you want to see a specific case or just see what it's like in the court? If you're just droppping in for a few hours to see what it's like then it's worth looking for a case that's fairly significant and underway. They never seem to to start when they're scheduled to and there's often a lot of starting and stopping!

Just wanted to see what's it's like. Have been a fan of classic crime fiction for years so I'd probably be disappointed at most cases...no murders carried out by arsenic in a plum pudding!

You may as well just watch Judge Rinder instead. Something as tedious as a court case would be best edited and professionally produced.

Curious, its well worth a visit, even if only to see the protocols that are observed. I sat on a Jury last year for two very mundane cases, but I thoroughly enjoyed it as a learning experience.

When I did jury service it was very much like it looks on TV. Hard work, as the court sat for pretty well four hours a day. Things moved very slowly.
