Hiya.
For Priory Prom is coming up in a couple of months so let the Suit and Dress panic begin! Just wanted to ask if anyone has any ideas for transport. They won't be wanting their 'Embarrassing' parents taking them. And hireing can be bloody expensive. Any suggestions??

If mum and dad are too embarrassing, let them pay for their transport of choice. Or just walk...

Back in my day it was an end of term disco rather than a prom and we all walked there, via the Grange for a bottle or two of cheap cider first obviously.

I wish there were some sensible answers on this thread; as I will thinking about this in a couple of years time; (and yes back in my day it was just a disco as well). I think the cheapest solution is to hire a (tacky) limo between a few of them. But other than that I am trying to recall old friends who have a classic / sports car!

Another tacky American import to get stressed about - what’s wrong with the usual cheesy end of year disco? Cheaper that’s for sure

What a miserable bunch you are. It's like we're still living in the dark days. School discos are so 1970/80's. Things move on, get over it.

Yeah I totally agree everything was much better 'back in our day'. I think I'll end up hiring a limo or taxi depending on who he wants to go with. Or befriending a chauffeur called Rob or something in tescos. Ahah

Try local wedding car services - some lovely cars (as long as it stays nice and dry)
