I get a regular prescription and am FED UP with the long wait to get it in Boots. Which is the best pharmacy in Lewes? Am I correct that one (St Annes?) will deliver for free?
Thanks

I always get mine from wyborns mear train station. Never had a problem there. Only wait a few minutes if I go in with a prescription form and never have to wait around if I am collecting a pre booked prescription. Not sure what the others are like tho I'm afraid

St Annes used to deliver to my mother free of charge, although she did live only 3 minutes walk away. Nice ladies in there. Very helpful. Nothing too much trouble. Highly recommended.

Boots are terrible. I gave up on them a long time ago. Rookie is right - St Anne's in Western Road really is a good place to go: prompt, efficient and really nice people. I feel sorry for the people who work in Boots - the place is so miserable.

Had the same problem myself. Had prescription sent from River Lodge to Boots directly and was having to leave it for a week to stand any chance at all of being able to collect.
I now go to Wyborns who take 5-10 mins and so far have never been short of stock, which was another regular problem in Boots.

I don't like Wyborns, the man is rude and the last time I was in there the 2 staff were chatting for a good 5 mins while the customers just had to stand and wait.
St Annes would possibly get my vote for best service and most helpful staff of any shop in Lewes, tbh. They are all nice and the pharmacist is really helpful and very professional.
A few weeks ago, the quack had prescribed me some meds which conflicted with something I was already taking. The St Annes pharmacist spotted this, phoned my doc, got another scrip issued for something similar but compatible, collected it and the new drugs were waiting for me later that day. She explained it all to me when I wnet to collect them and checked that I wasn't allergic to them. I know they have a database for regular customers but the bulletin about this contra-indication had only come out about 10 days earlier.

I think Lewes is lucky to have several independent Pharmacy's, I've used all except St.Annes (due to location) and always had good service. Boots as you'd expect do not offer the same level of service. I find the Pharmacist in Wyborns in particular is very knowledgeable & has given some very useful advice. That willingness to take a bit of time & care is what the big chains fail to deliver in my experience

Boots is terrible, an awful service. Bakers is good & staff great as long as you don't get the manager, she's a right misery with zero people skills.

Whenever i've used Boots for a prescription they've been fine. Never had to wait more than five minutes. Maybe I've just been lucky. Agree with others that St Anne's are very helpful.

I've used the one at Ringmer quite a few times, and they're always polite and helpful. Easy parking, too!

Ringmer! If you have a car, go to Ringmer. Free parking: but beware the bluebottles do visit occaisionally, so park properly.
