We were coming back from Brighton on the bus and everyone got excited when they saw the prison end of Lewes in darkness. Spirits rose as we reached the centre and saw the lights on. Selfish, but true.

Ah, all we got in Barcombe was a momentary power dip.
You'll get no joy from EDF unless you experiance more than 4 power cuts in one year (or it might even be 5) each of at least an hour in length.
For some bizarre reason an EDF year runs from one April to the next.

I am sick to death of EDF's lack of responsibility in this matter. four cuts in four weeks. What if we have no power over Christmas?
What about lost revenue for businesses? And having to pay for meals out when no one nearby has any power?
They need to buy in more power and fast
