Does anyone know what caused the Lewes wide power cut this morning?

No I don't sorry Dave.
I bet it was something to do with that Fracking lot though, going through a major power line no doubt. I noticed the clock on my cooker had been tripped this morning but I don't know what time it happened or what caused it.

I have never lived anyway, ever, that has as many and often, power outages as Lewes. Can the town really support anymore new houses ?

Yes, Barcombe was out and even the O2 transmitter seemed to be down. A bit freaky when you're a distance from anyone and you've no power and no way of making a telephone call.

Must of all seemed a bit like the mid 70's. Deelite 2 - I have always kept an old phone in the house so that I can plug it in instead of the new fangled digital thing during power cuts and still make calls. You might want to do the same.

Unusually the street lights in my road stayed on last night too - thought they were on a light sensor though.

the fault is with EDF. They charge enough, make a huge profit but do not spend any money on updating and overhauling their equipment.
