My postie comes round at about 1pm in Southover.
Sadly the letters are usually 8 days late.

I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the postie delivering in Highdown Road when I came home at 4.30.
I have a vague recollection that when the Royal Mail did away with the second delivery, they said that all first deliveries would be done by 1pm.

You should count yourself lucky. In Barcombe our letters are delivered by camel... and often it's eaten them first.

Usually between 1 and 2 in our area, but the usual, very pleasant, postie has been off work, and now only the catalogues and junk seem to be delivered. A letter I had been expecting failed to arrive recently, so I contacted the sender who said they would put a copy in the post. That didn't arrive either.

In Malling our delivery times vary between 8 am and lunchtime. I think it depends which way round the route the postie goes as we're very close to the sorting office so we're either near the start of the round or right at the end.
As I'm out at work all day it doesn't really bother me when they turn up to be honest though.
