I'm sure I remember such an outpouring of grief from our friends in the Police Service when they shot/murdered Jean Charles de Menezes/James Ashley in London and Hastings respectively. Oh, hang on. Looking back, utter contempt was shown to both men and their families and an apology had to be wrung out through the courts eventually at considerable cost to the tax payer. Hope the vulnerable lady was located safe and well.
