Just witnessed a police car blue lighting to the top of church lane, before switching them off as he got to the school and drove down the road turning into the headquarters. Shortly after a lady was using her phone whilst waiting for traffic to pass, completely oblivious to the fact she was actually blocking the road. She too then turned into the headquarters. Are they for real?

Sadly that is for real, I have seen the copper in Arundel doing it too.
Pointless to report it, they will have some lame excuse (if they even bother to look into it at all).
I'm not anti police (probably sounds like I am), on the whole they do a sterling job, but a certain percentage are more than happy to break the law themselves (and the rest look after them).

Given the direction they were heading, very unlikely.

Pray tell, why would anyone ever 'need' the police?
Whenever I've 'needed ' them all I've got is a crime number followed by a letter stating the investigation (yes, laughably) is now closed.
They are nothing but a self serving organisation only concerned with the size of their 'pot' come retirement

Witness - I presume this is just a presumption on your part filling in the gaps or do you know this for dead cert? If you know it for certain please explain how you came by this conclusion? I don't mind if you use another username to reply, I totally understand the need to slate something off and hide behind a keyboard. Thanks a million old boy.

All you anti police will be first on the phone when your loved ones are in trouble !!
If you are that concerned about what road users are up to report to crime stoppers NOTthis forum!
And as for their "pot" do you not listen to the news . And what little is left in the "pot" is their money anyway it's what they pay in .

Laughably naive, Lewes girl.
No-one sane or law-abiding wants to be anti-police, but they are increasingly so useless that it's hard not to become that way inclined. In every single interaction that I have had with the organisation over the past 12 years, they have been depressingly inept – or worse.
And no-one would deny them their 'pot' if they indeed had paid it in. But they haven't – they've paid in a fraction.

I surgest you try buying a pension as good as the police get privately. Only then will you know the true extent of your stupidity.
The police pay a small amount in, and , guess who pays the rest ?
Hmmm let me think?

Once again it would appear the strongest views are ezpressed by those with the least knowledge. Quite fashionable to bash the police, whereas energies might be better expended challenging the Home Secretary. Cannot wait for the day when G4s play a greater role in law enforcement than they currently do. Then tye police bashers will have something to complain about.
