I've had no PlusNet internet for the past day or so. I've tried it on several machines, and tried using an ethernet cable. I'm online via a kind neighbour's internet. Are any other PlusNet users having trouble this weekend?
Thanks

I bet it can't be worse than BT !
My Broadband keeps dropping out. On my first call to the helpline, the assistant agreed it was dropping out and said "it can fixed in the exchange, if it doesn't improve, call in 7 days time.
7 days later, I called again and the assistant said an Engineer was needed.
A further 7 days later I raised it as a complaint. The assistant told me I was running too many devices on the wireless hub (3, yes Three!). She went on to say that I need to change the router channel.
Anyhow, here we are now, no improvement whatsoever.

@Zzzz, I'm actually not here to entertain you. I'm using a local forum to get valuable local input. Now that I have it, from Geoff, I can report the fault. 'Night-night, @Zzzz.

My BT broadband was terribly unreliable for a fortnight or so at the start of the month but seems to be worked fine again now

My Internet has been haphazard of late too. But I'm with TalkTalk. So maybe it's a network issue with Openreach.

I use Plusnet and they are the only satisfactory ISP I have ever used. If you have a problem their support staff are very helpful and will go out of their way to fix it. What's more they are all native English speakers and the company supplies them with good phone lines.
I can't recommend them enough. A surprise to me as Plusnet is owned by BT.
Oh yes. And my broadband has been fine.

I totally agree, Zebedee - the Plusnet support staff are brilliant: very knowledgeable and try really hard to help and to fix things. I think their support centre is in Yorkshire.
And I worked out how to reset my router, and lo, I'm back on internet. :-)

Ha! I was with Plusnet up to a couple f years ago. Rubbish service and no satisfaction after much communication. I went to Talktalk. Much cheaper and so far no problems.

I've got Plusnet and have had massive problems for a long time - unreliability mainly but also not massively impressed by their customer service. Just about to get their fibre optic service so hoping things will improve from now on ...

No issues with Plusnet for about 6 years. Fast. Great price too.
