Hello -- is there a playground in Plumpton? I know there's one at the pub there, but wonder if there's anything municipal.
Anything else for little kids there?
Thanks!

It`s a Sussex village - do you really expect any facilities for children /youth ?

Hi Carol. Haven't actually been there myself yet, but there is apparently a very good new playground in Plumpton. More details click link.
Hope your kids enjoy it!

The playground is just across the road from the station. I think it is George V playing field.

Villagers held the launch party for the new playground yesterday (complete with drinks bar serving Harvey's) so it is all open; my kids use it and they love it. Dim Reaper - while facilities are limited in rural areas there is a skateboard park and all weather multi-games area and basketball hoops in Plumpton Green; plus there is a group of villagers looking to do more for younger people. There is also an excellent pre-school, Honeybees, next to the playpark, and a planned series of events for the village's summer activity scheme for school age children this August.
